Converted garage in Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty

Brief

To convert an old double garage, which could not be demolished due to planning constraints, into an outside dining area.

Solution

Three sides are knocked out and replaced with concrete pillars and oak supports. A natural sandstone floor spills out into the garden, connecting the garage to the existing garden features. An internal partition wall creates a new storage area for motorbikes & bicycles.
